CHEIL, IDEAS THAT MOVE SHOPPERS.

18th of June, 2013
Hello retail community!
We’ve just arrived at the 60th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and there is a lot to do as you can see here.
Digital Divas -
The leaders of a cross-channel shopping revolution
Of course, we joined the inspiring master class “Digital Divas” – the queens of the shoppers. Microsoft and Ogilvy & Mather unveiled the results of the ground-breaking study with more than 9.000 women worldwide. Read the summary of the session here.
Cheil Germany won 3 Lions!
Of course, we know that this is not a classic retail case, but we are really proud to announce that our campaign “Free the Forced” was rewarded with three bronze lions in the category PR! Have a look at the case that caught lions for “Charity and not for profit”, “Best use of live events and / or stunts” and also in “Best use of media relation” here
Promo & Activation shortlist
On our hunt for inspiration we visited the exhibitions to select some outstanding cases in the category Promo & Activation. Have a look at our selectionwith cases that have great chances to win a lion at the award ceremony.
Retail – unavoidable integrated
After the session with the punchy title “Never trust a marketer” we met the speaker Dr. Steven Althaus, CMO of BMW Group. For him, marketing is retail. This is a very strong statement. Watch the whole interview here.
As you might have realized, we exceeded our goals for today. Instead of two general questions, we ended up in detailed interviews with inspiring insights. What a promising start for the week. Now it is your turn. Do you have questions to industry legends, creatives or global leaders we are going to meet?
Send them to info@cheilgermany.com and they may already be answered in one of our interviews tomorrow. Stay curious for fresh inspiration tomorrow.
