Christophe Claret Soprano Minute Repeater Watch

Due to take place in Mexico City, at the Four Seasons Hotel next week, the Salón Internacional de la Alta Relojería is a much awaited event, since it started back in 2007. It is one of the most representative exhibitions of timepieces to be taking place south of the USA. Most importantly, Christophe Claret will be there presenting his brand new Soprano Minute Repeater.
Due to be officially launched at a press conference within the same hotel, on the 2nd of October at 3 p.m., the timepiece is one staggering gadget. It is in fact a tourbillon minute repeater, boasting with a titanium caseband for exceptional sound transmission and four cathedral gongs. It will reportedly be available in red gold, platinum and white gold, 8 units of each.
Apart from the humongous price tag that will probably accompany the models, they encompass state of the art technology and prove the expertise of Christophe Claret in fine watchmaking. The charismatic figure founded Renaud Papi Claret in 1987, while Christophe Claret SA was founded in 1991 after he bought his partners out. Eventually, Giulio Papi and Dominique Renaud have gone on their own, becoming integrant part of the renowned Audemars Piguet.
We lack the technical details of the Soprano Minute Repeater, but until we get info on it, please feel free to browse through the pictures we’re attached. They, sort of, speak for themselves.
